Carlos’s race engineer must be drunk AF telling him he has a 5 second stop n go and Carlos is like no you ******* idiot it’s just a 5 second penalty. Race engineer needs to be sharper and not tell the driver wrong information.
even I could tell Ferarri was ******* up

Classic Lando performance: show some promise during qualifying, promptly lose a spot or two on the first lap as a result of his timidity, then drive a soulless uninspired race, get a few points and have the team claim a great victory. I think he was created in the bowels of an advertising agency and not on a race track.

It was really unfortunate to see Leclerc crash out. I would so love to see him beat Max for the championship but it’s seeming less likely. What a great result for Mercedes! If only their cars were a little quicker.

I don't know if the radio signal is delayed for viewers but if not, they literally got in his ear at the worst possible moment, mid overtake!
Sky broadcasters said "the team radio is delayed but not THAT delayed."

If it was playing during the overtake, then it almost certainly didn’t actually occur during the overtake. Crofty is an idiot.

it looked to me like people were exceeding track limits at T3 consistently, but I didn’t see any repercussions.

The Ocon penalty was nonsense.

I thought George’s saltiness was unwarranted, but I guess he was justifiably aggrieved, at least by the dumbass standards the stewards have defined this year:

Oh hey, I agree with something Max said! :fistbump:

I don’t mind so much the emergence of street circuits (my home GP is a “street” so let’s not shoot ourselves in the foot here), but it would be criminal to drop Spa (or Monaco) from the schedule. I wouldn’t mind if you got rid of **** like Bahrain or Jeddah or Baku though (even though i like the Jeddah track).

Btw i hope the Qatar GP fails miserably and gets cancelled. I’m still angry at Qatar doing the World Cup and forcing fans to consider going to an inhospitable place that no one cares to visit, has no football legacy, and no hotel rooms. **** those guys.

In better, less ranty news, i am attending the Belgian GP! Seats are on the bus stop chicane - i wanted Eau Rouge/Raidillon but struck out on those. It will be bittersweet if this is the last F1 race at Spa…renew the contract you Liberty F***ers!

I agree with everything except Baku, which has actually provided a lot of excitement, even if some of those 90 degree turns are dumb.

He definitely seems to have depleted his reserve of available ***** this year.
