Yes the group has the money now (theoretically i dont know their balance sheet) because the industry consolidated but they almost assuredly would not put cynar up on the podium.According to Wikipedia, the Campari Group owns 45% of global liquor brands by sales. They could probably afford to sponsor the podium again if they wanted to.
I've mentioned this before but I was in Monaco for work a few years ago and was talking to the manager of the Fairmont. One side of the building faces the see one side faces the Fairmont Curve.
Very similar to your Monaco story...I've mentioned this before but I was in Monaco for work a few years ago and was talking to the manager of the Fairmont. One side of the building faces the see one side faces the Fairmont Curve.
51 weeks a year, everyone wants to face the sea. For that one week, every room is booked, years out, for the entire week and it was something like a 20,000 Euro minimum but I could be forgetting how high it was.
I've always heard that Monaco is actually pretty good in person because you're so close to the track compared to the other GP's. On TV though, it's a snoozefest except for Saturday qualifying.I'll attend the Monaco GP one I have [free] access to a boat or someone's home overlooking the race. Otherwise, no thanks since there are better races to attend with a grandstand/general admission ticket.
