Indeed. If Perez doesn't get an F1 seat next year, I will be very disappointed.
Just shows how brutal and unfair F1 can be to a driver who is probably the best midfield driver for the last 5-6 years.
I don't get the hate for Stroll. Yes, he's born rich and probably has his seat thanks to his dad but he's getting results, no? He's definitely not a bad driver and definitely does not make boneheaded mistakes (a la Vettel and Grosjean).I'm glad I wasn't the only one actively rooting against Stroll to win. He's currently 4th in the drivers standings. WTF!!??
I have to say I wasn't rooting for him to win either but just becuase I was rooting for Carlos haha.I don't get the hate for Stroll. Yup, although those are, I think, steps back. Yes, will keep him in F1 but I think than farther than ever from a top tier team.Sad to see Perez leave Racing Point although he really should have a better drive. His obvious next options are Alfa Romeo and Haas I guess.

It does make me wonder why Renault elected for Alonso again. He hasn't won a race in 8 years and a championship in 16 (by 2021). I always find it bizarre when teams try to live in the past (a la McLaren Honda, Williams Renault that both ended in medicority at best).I don't get the hate for Stroll. I was thinking yesterday, what options does he have? Couldn't came up with one quickly. Probably Hass if they let go one of their drivers.
I saw the Mercedes onboard around the track. It’s nothing but 5G corner after corner.Soooooo...does anyone else see any passing opportunities at Mugello? Because I sure don't.
I saw a number of spins and offs during practice, so we may see some surprises. But then I also saw a video of Merc basically going flat out with no throttle lift through 4 or 5 corners. Or as Mercedes calls them "bendy straights"...I saw the Mercedes onboard around the track. It’s nothing but 5G corner after corner.
