For the planners among you looking forward to next spring already...here are some options for MTO sportcoats to be made by Formosa. Pricing will vary slightly by fabric, but will end up somewhere in the $1600ish area. Hope I haven't overwhelmed you with choices, but I found a lot to love.

All pictures are taken with Rota light gray trousers underneath.

Vote for which ones you might be interested in.

Voted for Beige linen, and Drapers brown (wool/silk/linen mix).

Drapers brown looks like it has an amazing texture.

Ha, of course my eye gets drawn not to one of the actual choices, but the two light blue swatches off the the right in the first pic . . .

Well everything is a choice if enough people get behind it. I think those look better as swatches than as jackets though.

Lulz...I didn't mean to be flippant - there are a lot of fabrics that look great as a 3"x3" square but then when it's all over you, you realize it's too much. Bright colors like those are often in that category IMHO.

The dull greens on the left hand side could be good, but I think the Drapers dark green I listed is better. If you definitely want linen though, they would be a good choice.

I like the Linen choices at the top of the list.
The patterns, however, are extremely disappointing. They look like
the Isaia and Zegna stuff that my local Saks and Niemans
peddle ". Italian for the American Country Club member".
market. Nothing subtle or interesting.

Look at some of the patterns from O'Connells- I don't mean the
madras. Ignore the "trad" cut of their jackets and focus on
what to me are interesting, textured fabrics. Not like the oversized
plaids and bold checks that are shown above.
