This would happen to me in grade school. I knew where the twine was kept in the maintenance closet when I needed a quick fix.

At least you retrieved a belt before someone "pantsed" you.

It would bother me much more to mistakenly wear a black belt with brown shoes (or vice versa) than to go without a belt for the day. I feel like if your pants are tailored well it's just a more "casual" look.

My belt broke on me while on vacation a few days ago. Fortunately, I was carrying my Saddleback messenger, so I just used one of the straps (it is actually a belt, anyway). Saddleback FTW!

My belt is too big for me now. When I had my pants altered I just had the waist brought in, and I don't wear one. Is that a no-no?

The reason that I looked at this thread today was that I forgot my watch at home. Felt lost!

Try braces, it pretty easy to notice when you haven't got them on.

And that's exactly what I did today - Stupid early morning meetings.

Luckily, I'm wearing a knit today, so it's just an operation to ensure that it stays pulled down over my belt, and then no one will be the wiser.

I haven't worn a belt in years with jeans. Growing up you didn't wear a belt or tuck in your shirt and in summer never wore socks.
