I just bought a gray linen/cotton suit with 15% polyamid from threedifferent.com for $165.

It's a Boglioli in my size and I know it will fit perfectly. Still, I've never owned a polyester suit and unsure what to expect from it. Was it a mistake?

I think polyamide is nylon. One of my favorite fabrics was a wool/linen/nylon blend. Edit: Wikipedia says polyamide is nylon, includes things like kevlar, and can even be natural : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polyamide

You'll sweat like a pig...

Dry cleaning it once will destroy the color.

Enjoy!

Don't worry, you won't die from a few percent of artificial fabric... ... it's more like a chronic debilitating illness instead... I once owned a 100% pure polyester chocolate brown suit with orange pinstripes. The artificial fabric was probably the least egregious thing about it. **** me, that suit was awesome.

It's important to be a trend setter, even if that means going against the fabric.

An abomination according to Leviticus. Perhaps you're under a different covenant sartorially.

I couldn't find another lino/cotone/poliammide suit

It's the only one they had. Size 48, too. Somebody had returned it and they put it back on sale. I bought it right away, because I've already ordered a suit and a jacket in size 48 from them before and both fit me amazingly well without any alterations. Well, I'm hoping the 65% linen will offset the sweating induced by the 15% polyamide.

Well...now there's "charged cotton" but you know what I mean.
