I hate eggplant. My wife loves it. The texture is just digusting and the flavor is not terrible, but simply boring.

Do you mean chow-chow? The pickled relish, usually with cabbage?

I love chow-chow, but it's definitely a condiment. I pile some on black-eyed peas every chance I get, but I can't imagine eating it by itself.

How can you not like lasagna? If you don't like lasagna, I'm afraid that the person making it is not doing it right. Well made lasagna is a gift from God.

Most of the stuff on the table for the very important and lucky New Year's meal in Japan. ugh, feeling nauseous just thinking about it.

I nearly posted something similar, but I have in-laws who believe in their foods, and a young'un who is constantly looking for a way to subsist on pizza, wings, and hot sauce.

or something like, "Thanks, that's more then enough of X, I can always come back for more".

To my mother I just say, "Can I please just serve myself? Thanks"

I do not enjoy green beans under most circumstances. I also don't understand how the hell most people can attempt to bake chocolate chip cookies, yet they come out looking and tasting like rock-hard, tasteless biscuits. My mother's recipe was sweet as anything and soft for a couple days at least. Epic.

Bananas, they make me gag and almost puke. Not fond of the smell either.

I'll tell you one of the benifits of being fat - you don't have to eat anything, you just say "oh, that looks great but I am trying to cut down"
