I like him and think he looks good (albeit in a over the top way).

I hear he also helps Gs become Gentlemen.

The man almost invariably looks ******* tremendous.

Look: it's his business to stand out. If he didn't carry the umbrella or wear bright colors sometimes, it would have the same effect on his career that carrying the umbrella and wearing those colors would have on the careers of all the lawyers and accountants who post here. His dress is *completely* appropriate, and he looks fantastic.

Exactly.

It's his sense of style and his great self promotional ability that has propelled him from his humble beginnings to the success he enjoys today. Look at any of the successful designers today. If they didn't make a product that stood out, people would not pay a premium to wear it. This is the reason that Ralph Lauren and Giorgio Armani are Billionaires. They may not make shirts with the level of craftsmanship of Anna Matuozzo's or suits on the level of Rubinacci or some other exclusive maker, but their products do stand out for the costumers that continue to buy their products and for the mainstream of fashion editors, and tastemakers, etc.......

Thats how you have success no matter what your doing. Whether it's in fashion or in business, you have to standing out from the pack and not following the status quo.

It's fine to learn about style but its up for you to define your own personal style, but be realistic; Everyone will not agree with your personal taste.

Be Well

I don't watch that show regularly, but I did see an episode a couple of weeks ago, in which Jay Kos made an appearance. Did anyone else see that?

What's wrong with carrying an umbrella?

I saw that episode. I'm new to all this so didn't know who he was but seeing him on there prompted me to google his name.
