    +1
He definitely is a better dresser than his ex boss Diddy.

I'll bet that if he posts on the WAYWN section he'd be an instant hit.

while we all like the idea of spontaneity or sprezzatura, it is exceeeding rare.

Why don't we see a picture of your outfit?

If he posted that pic of him with the umbrella I'd say the same thing. He looks stupid in half of his pictures, have you seen him on TV?

I'm not quite sure what my outfit has to do with this matter.

He makes some good choices and some really bad ones. I feel as though he tries too hard most of the time.

Sharp dresser. A tendency to go a little overboard in the full dandy category, but there is no doubt that he has a good sense of style. Even if his style wouldn't necessarily fit everyone and every profession. Andre, him and Kanye are the best dresser in hip hop world IMO. Jay comes right after - a bit more conservative and less daring.

He also has a genuine passion for clothes and that's something we usually value here, no?

Doesn't Fonzworth buy all his clothes from Jay Kos? If you wear the brightest stuff Jay sells, all at once, you can look just like him. I remember when Conan was interviewing him and he brought a Jay Kos jacket for Conan to try on. Granted, Conan wears crap, but the jacket didn't fit at all. He kept insisting is was an improvement. Blegh.

I think Bentley is an excellent dresser. I know it's probably hard to accept because of his association with Puff, but he's the most fashionable person in hip-hop IMO.

He's also a very classy individual, what's wrong with his style?

    It's often obnoxiously loud.

That may be the case, but at least the man thinks for himself instead of blindly following the trend, whatever that may be.

Better or worse than obnoxiously boring?

+1,000,000 Isn't it the spirit of style forum to take chances and defy the status quo (as long as you know what your doing)? I applaud his daring style and for not dressing like most young people in hip-hop (Steve Harvey baggy suit style).

The whole loud thing might have been more accurate a few years ago, he wears more sober colors now.

I like what I've seen of his style and I'm impressed that he does dress well and has made an effort to teach others to do so as well. That MTV show, From G's to Gents, was pretty dumb (mostly because of the participant, not Fonzworth) but at least it made an effort to teach some basic style to participants and viewers.

I wouldn't call it obnoxious. Bentley is just loud (sometimes) . I don't see a problem with that though. I understand you don't dress like that, and neither do I, but I fail to see where the problem with his attire is.

This, unlike Bentley, is what I would consider "obnoxiously loud":
