Is this a Seinfeld joke that I'm not catching.

Surrrrre. I bet you claim you've never watched Melrose Place too.

I like a lot the multistriped Matuozzo but why did you ask for frontal plackets?

It´s considered sportier that plain ones, I never liked it

In all honesty, I was never a fan (shocking I know). I watched a couple of reruns (the Soup Nazi stands out), but I've probably seen less than 10 episodes total.

MyTailor charges $165 + tax + s/h = $180. I am thinking Bespoke might be in $225-$250 range. I ordered it in Monti Rose Prince in purple check and pink check. I asked to buy the cloth, but was quoted $79 a yd.

Do you like the type of cloth or just patterns? This type of pattern (gingham check) is available from many places and in many qualities.

Though TM selection of colours is truly nice.

@ andreyb2:
Thank you. It's a Thomas Mason silverline. I look forward to wearing it on one of our national holidays...

@ fritzl, Eustace Tilley, Lonneker:
Thank you too. This is Maffeis' 'Aspen' collar.

@ SpallaCamiccia:
Thank you also. With regard to the front placket, I chose that because I somehow prefer that.

Maybe so, I've never seen it either. That was also a reference to another Seinfeld episode. The one where he dates the police detective and she hooks him up to the polygraph to test his claim that he had never seen MP.

thank you for the information. i'm more or less bound to a version of the Kent with my 20 inch neck... ...bulls neck in colloquial language.

what's their price spectrum, if you don't mind.

20 inch neck. Wow. How tall are you if you don't mind me asking?

no worries, 180 cm = 5'9'', shoulder to shoulder 55 cm = 1'8''

not a small frame, which might explain my preference for more solid footwear than most here.

the 20 inch are measured recently, so the collar will be 21 for an initial order at a new shirtmaker.
