The dark blue linen is an Albini Sahara, the gingham a Thomas Mason Zephir.

    (And yes: gauntlet buttons...)

Please tell us more about your shirtmaker, Ettemadis. I'm not familiar with them.

    Thank you, Andrey.

Please tell us more about your shirtmaker, Ettemadis. I'm not familiar with them.

Mr. Etemadi (singular is with one t and without the end-s) was born in Iran, son of a shirtmaker/tailor, and has been a shirtmaker and alteration tailor (hope I'm using the right term) in The Netherlands sinds 1979. He measures, makes a pattern, cuts the fabric and sews the shirts. I have some pictures of the process which I can post later, if you're interested.

    Website: www.ettemadis.com
Blog of his son Amir (who cut the collars of these shirts): http://ettemadis.blogspot.com/

This is quite a dark color. I'm curious how you intend on wearing it, with a jacket or not?

Yes, it's a deep, dark blue. I have a jacket in mind with which I intend to wear it—I'll do a WAYWRN with it soon. But other than that, I will mostly wear it without a jacket on hot summer days; we seem to get those more and more over here.

these are some nice pictures. showing the made to measure process.

but arent those shoulders a bit too narrow for your actual shoulders?

My later shirts might be a bit wider in the shoulders, but I like them quite narrow for shirts.
