Flathead F380 question

I recently acquired a "2nd hand" pair of F380s. They're a size 36, and the previous owner had only given them one rinse wash, no detergent. They now measure 34.5 in the waist and have a 36 inseam. I'm around a 34 waist anyway, which is why I bought them, but can I expect the waist to stretch out a bit again? Also will there be any more shrinkage in the next wash (which is months away obviously)?

If the waist isn't too tight, chances are it won't stretch too much. I wear a true 32 and have size 32 380s and they haven't stretched much in the waist at all. I think the legs stretched more than the waist if anything.

Suggest you give the SelfEdge or 'I Have A Jean' threads a try with his. You'll get more play, and a stretch question is a simple enough one.
