Has anyone been able to find flat waxed laces? I'm looking for brown ones for my Indy boots - thanks.

I wonder if Alden stores sell them or will give you a pair. I'll try to stop by one this week.

Unless I missed a link this site sells by the case so be really sure you like the colour [IMG] The other link sells singles of the same item but Strupai seems to be an OEM

Oops, I didn't really understand the site... (36 per case?) OEM means only for business orders?
    Pity, the box looks great.

I think it's the company that makes them. If you want a case or more they might sell it to you . But might be better to ask them if they can suggest a retailer.

    Yes, that makes sense. Thanks.

These by SF member mat135ta aren't waxed but perfectly good flat laces.

Bought a few and am happy - equal to CJ laces.

The Alden shop on Madison usually has these in stock in various sizes and colors (brown and black).

This still seems to be the easiest place to get them online, at least in the US. I would assume any decent men's shoe store would have them as well, but perhaps I put too much faith in men's shoe stores. I picked up a couple of pairs in black.

I was just placed in the same endeavor for Flat Waxed Laces and emailed http://www.shoelacesexpress.com, they say that the following (despite the poor quality photos) http://www.shoelacesexpress.com/waxeddress.asp

are what we have been searching for, will order a few and confirm.

anyone have any luck finding these? I need several pairs for my Aldens. From experience, online retailers of Alden will not sell you laces unless you purchase a pair of shoes

Those would be perfect, but delivery outside of the UK is 5x more than the laces.

Are there any disadvantages to these? Is it harder to lace them up, after you take off the laces each time to polish the shoes? Do you have to iron them? I read that Prince Charles has his valet do that.
