So, I got a pair of White's and I'm immensely pleased. However, about a month in I got a scuff on the heel (see pic.) I'm just wondering what the best way of taking care of this is. I tried Obenaufs, but it doesn't darken it that much. Thoughts? (And thanks in advance.)[IMG]

I would leave it. These are a workboot aesthetic, so embracing scuffs/scrapes/dings will both make the boot better looking and allow you to wear them without worrying.

Beyond that, putting Obenauf's on is *not* want you want to do, as it's created for a very different purpose (waterproofing), and it can dull the leather. Obenauf's can be a great product when used in the right application (boots that will see a *lot* of water and snow), but given your stance on this scuff, I would imagine Obenauf's is not appropriate for your boots.

Lastly, if you're set on trying to hide it, you'll have to tell us what leather your boots are made from.

Thanks for the reply. The leather is brown dress leather.
