Fixing a Mr. Ned lapel

Query: after a few wearings, I realize that the lapel of a CMT odd jacket from Mr. Ned is not what I want. I wanted a three button rolled to two with a nice roll. What I received is a three button that buttons in the middle but really only looks "right" when the top button is buttoned as well. Can another tailor repress the lapel and fix this?

Do you not want to take it back to them? On the first jacket they made for me, after a year they replaced a shoulder pad because it was causing a little rippling. Granted, it was in the context of a second order, but they were happy to fix it and they didn't charge me.

My understanding is that you can have the coat pressed for more of a roll, but that after time it reverts. I could be wrong--I've never done this.

That's good to know--I'll try them first and see how it goes . . I assume it's a fairly involved procedure.
