Five Pound Football Club

I know there are lots of Brits on the forums and people in general that are interested in soccer so I thought I'd put this up.

Join a community of football club owners for just five pounds. Help us decide which club to choose - we want to help to develop a successful, sustainable club in either Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Scotland or Wales. You, and the other owners, decide how to invest the funds that are raised. Thousands of football fans can contribute to an exciting adventure by pooling their resources, knowledge and enthusiasm. Basically FivePoundFC wants to take a small club in one of these countries (most likely Wales), invest in it initially (5 pounds, and 5 pounds once a year), and help it to become successful and self-sustainable.

The club is very close to their goal of 500 members (I'm #459) and are in the process of examining clubs and speaking to club officials to find out which is best to invest in. Five pounds works out to just over $8 so it's almost nothing, and I think this is a really cool idea.

If people sign up with my referral link it gets me 5 "authority" points (you start out with 100). They give your vote slightly more power (like my 105 vs your 100 if you signed up). So they're not that valuable but I figured if I could help myself a little while also recruiting new investors for the club why not?
