1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Mine are probably a bit predictable:

    1. MFSC Pea Coat
    2. MFSC Shore Jacket
    3. MFSC Utility Shirt
    4. EG navy/red/white plaid workshirt
    5. NdG Utility Jeans

Just curious, do you have a pair of their jeans? How do you like their denim pea coat?

    1. Under Armour Boxer Jock underwear, most comfortable underwear I've ever worn.
    2. Levi's Jeans (different models) cheap, and they wear well on me.
    3. Citizen Eco-drive Watch, cheap and it never needs a battery.
    4. Coach wallet, it's thin and lasts for years.
    5. EMPTY

    Hmmm.....

I don't have a pair of their jeans, but I'd like some. I've probably waited too long to get a pair in my size, though, unless I order from Japan. I love the pea coat! It's not as heavy as a vintage wool pea coat, but still warm. You should check out the Mister Freedom thread at sufu. If you read the last few pages, you'll see cotton duck's very well broken in pea coat, but it's the early version not lined with wool.

Bespoak 3pc Charcoal Wool Suit - Made for my dad by some tailor in Yokohama Japan during my family's stay there while he was in 'Nam. Tweaked by my tailor to fit. Micro-herringbone pattern in black/grey. Dior MIJ 19cm Indigos - These were the second pair of denim I purchased since joining here. Worn pretty solidy for a year, then rotated in. Perfect fit/fades. Back Sugar Cane Belt - Simple w/ top-notch craftsmanship. Polo "Trim Miitary" Flannel - This shirt is so f-ing perfect, I have to try and not wear it every damn day. Subdued epaulets and elbow patches. Dope with sleeves rolled up and more unbuttoned in Spring/Summer, or with wifebeater or thermal underneath in Fall/Winter. I have another dressier one in broadcloth without the elbow patches. AE MacNeil Brown Pebble Grain Wingtips - Fit and wear great. Very "My Three Sons." Runners Up - All stainless Omega Seamaster (10 yrs of year-round lifeguarding, cliff training etc. and still looks $). Black Ferragamo Chelseas (with suit or jeans). Dark Blue Sperry "Venician" Loafers (so comfortable and sorft, right out of the box). Helmut Lang Raw Dark Indigo Jeans (worn for well over a year but... these bitches don't fade EVER... at first I fought it, but now I'm grateful). USN M65 (another treasure issued to Pops during Viet Nam... Blows almost all imitators away) Sorry for the overshare foul.

Late Winter / Early Spring: 1. I sort of hate to say it, but APC NS; I'm convinced that the much hated "stretch" in APC denim is what makes them so perfect - a custom fit. 10+ jeans later, I still go to these as my standard pair. 2. Black Cherry GTs. I have Fryes; I have Dayton x W&H; I have Allen Edmonds; I have Paul Smith. The Red Wings are more eye-catching, more versatile, and much more durable than any footwear I've worn. Unlike most other shoes, these really do look better with wear. 3. As much as I like my Krane Saelen, I have to choose my Filson 257. Nothing can take punishment like my Filson can. It somehow goes with a suit as well as with workwear; that's pretty rare. 4. NDG Utility Coat. (Thanks Fok.) This piece is the perfect jacket for me. It's functional, warm, slim, and most of all a unique coat in a sea of peacoats and tech jackets. 5. No garment I've ever owned pulls me to it like my Medium Grey Thick as Theives Suit. I can't go more than a week or so without missing wearing this suit. It sounds really lame, but I don't care.
