I'm assuming this is a list of "honest" albums & not for the sake of looking cool or name dropping like on the "5 albums to Mock you" post. So as corny as some of these albums may seem they are my "honest" 5! In no particular order.

Sade - Love Deluxe
Luther Vandross - The Best Of (although there's like 3 Best of's, this was a double CD from the early 90's)
Prince - Purple Rain
Eric B & Rakim - Paid In Full
Offer Nissim - Second Time featuring Maya (even though this is fairly new compared to the other 4, I listen to it everday)

oceans 11, glad you bring up that point.
I think a large majority of people on here, and most other forums, are guilty of that...

You know we're all guilty of doing that at some point & time. We all want to look cool sometimes right? But I've seen some good posts get trashed because you had "real" posts & then fake ones & then the fights break out. I personally think the "Mock You" post above is hilarious but this isn't that type of post so I just thought I'd throw that in there as a caveat for newcomers.

This list seems to change every time I come up with it, but some combination of these 5 is always present.

Pearl Jam - "Vs."

Radiohead - "Kid A"

Pink Floyd - "The Wall"

U2 - "The Joshua Tree"

Marillion - "Misplaced Childhood"

EDIT: Sometimes, "The Joshua Tree" loses out to "OK Computer".

If absolutely necessary, I could live with these five and no others.

I Muvrini - A Bercy (Live)

Donovan - A Gift From A Flower to a Garden

Charlie Hayden and Hank Jones - Steal Away

Stan Getz and João Gilberto - Getz Gilberto

Lily Kraus - Complete Mozart Piano Sonatas
