I'm both fat and heavy-built; currently 6'0" and ~290lb with a 44" waist, but the thinnest I've ever been is 170lb with a 34-36" waist; my current weight-loss target is 190lb, so I expect to end up as a 36-38". I understand that fitting correctly is the #1 priority for being properly dressed, but the trim fits recommended on SF tend to, well, bulge on me. I've been getting by on LL Bean chinos and polo shirts, but how should a guy like me get properly fitted while losing weight? Are there decent brands that cater to big guys, or do I need to get everything custom-tailored if I don't want to look baggy?

if your losing weight and actually doing it i wouldn't invest a lot of money on a clothing right now.... just go on what you been getting by with.

you spend money when you reach your goal.:slayer:
