Wondering if you gents have any idea if C&Js tend to run true to size or large/small compared to other english brands like loake/church, etc.

I wear a 10 in allen edmonds, so I'm guessing I'm going to be looking at a 9 or 9.5 in C&J...is that about right?

I will try to take a trip to the C&J store in manhattan, but I'd like to know what to expect.

Thanks.

I own a lot of C&J, and a pair of Selbornes, and I approve of this statement.

I also just learned that patrickBOOTH and I wear the same size shoes. Another fellow to add to the 9.5D shoe trade cartel.

I think they're great. A lot of the folks around here complain that the medallion looks like a cock and balls, but that's because they're gay.

$540 shipped a pretty reasonable price?

seems the construction and quality is worth the upgrade from AE.

Yes, that's a very good price. I paid $558 shipped for mine from Pediwear, which usually has the (second) lowest prices around (lowest is "Plal"). And yes, C&J is much better than AE in my opinion, especially in terms of looks.

shame they don't have my size.
