Someone said to post this here; let me know if this isn't the place.

Do these combinations look OK? Pretty new to thinking about clothes and have a limited wardrobe, so suggestions are appreciated.

Why no belt? Are you allergic to holding your pentz up?

And why no socks? Are you a cocaine dealer?

I wasn't sure if I should wear socks with the loafers--again, pretty new to this. What color socks do you think would work here? Also, do you ever wear loafers without socks?

No belt because the pants fit well, but could add obviously.

What about the jacket/shirt/tie colors--do they go together?

You already own them, but in future get longer jackets.
They are inches too short.

I actually think the first outfit looks just fine - actually quite like it. Ideally have some tan when you go sockless and wear pants with side-taps (when you don't want to wear a belt) but overall looks good. I would say maybe jacket a bit too short. 2nd outfit not so much but might be just the tie that is throwing me off.

I don't think one has to be a cocaine dealer in order to go without socks:).

Also I would post this in the alterations/ fit thread. I have gotten lots of great feedback from there with constructive criticism.

I think if you take the jacket from the first pic and swap it into the outfit in the second pic, throw on some socks and you have the best combination from those sets of clothes.

I don’t feel the grey jacket is working with those trousers, I think a few shades darker in the jacket would work better
