Greetings everyone. Long time lurker, first time poster. I recently took the plunge on a Schott peacoat and I'm on the fence if I like the fit or not. It seems pretty large to me and I'm considering going down a size. However, I'm no expert so here I am. Input is greatly appreciated!

One photo is with a sweater underneath, the rest are with a tshirt. Usual layers will be a mid weight button up or similar, sometimes a sweater or thicker flannel. My usual fit preference leans to a bit trimmer, but this is an outer layer.
Coat is a 42R. My rough measurements are 41.5 Chest, 35 belly, 33 waist, 33.5 arms

It looks fine to me, especially if you'll be layering underneath.

looks good to me. I have one that would be considered a "size down" from your size, and I sort of wish I bought the bigger size. they arent very forgiving coats and i dont have a ton of room to move in mine, although it is very warm. Also the longer sleeves can be kind of nice, as there is nothing worse than having bare arm in the cold. Its also a LOT easier to shorten sleeves than lengthen them.
