Fit check on slim-fit evisus?

For my first pair of raw denim, I was torn between APCs, Nudies, and Evisu. Evisu's baggy cuts and gaudy back pockets turned me off, but I found a pair of "0331" slim-cut plain-pocket No.2 on ebay for $120, so I decided to give them a go. The denim is absolutely wonderful. It's dark, rich, crisp, and stiff, and the detailing and selvage is great. The fit doesn't seem anywhere near slim, though. I was looking for something straight-leg and classy- a pair I could wear with a button-up shirt. This is obviously not them- the back pockets are huge and loud, and the fit seems big for my tiny ass. Are these worth keeping for matching with t-shirts/hoodies exclusively, or do they just look too ghetto-fab all around?

I probably should just have sized down 2...I'm a 28 normally, and these are 28's. They're sanforized denim so they shouldn't shrink much. I'll probably just resell them, since they're pretty nice jeans.

I am having a very hard time with the big-ass pockets, otherwise I would say to just wash and shrink them. Resell them on fleabay and move on to some dark, trim fit jeans to make a much more stylish statement.

I wouldn't try shrinking them. I doubt they would shrink enough to fit how you would like them to be. Return or sell them.

1. way too baggy for a slim fit!

2. those elephant ear pockets make the fit look even more awkward...

Those look nothing like slim fit. Do yourself a favor and sell those nasty things. Their horrible. They might even look better with the bird **** on the back pockets like most evisu's have.

For me at least, the fit is decent, as the cut curves somewhat naturally to your silhouette. It's just those damn pockets, not to mention that you tucked your button-up into a pair of low yoke jeans, that takes you into Goofy Land.

I don't normally wear shirts/jeans like that, I just wanted to get a clear picture of the fit. I was pretty disappointed with these, since I had heard really good things about plain pocket evisus, and the 0331s in particular.
