Fishtail (braces back) trousers - pleats or not

Forward pleats, they improve the line of the trouser with the crease from the pleat travelling into the crease down the leg.Originally Posted by braised
Absolutely. All my fishtail back trousers have double forward pleats. I think it's a very elegant look.

No pleats is the calssical choice. However, you should not decide upon the most classical but the most flattering for your body type.

Make sure to take a look at a pair of trousers with single forward pleats before you order. They are certainly not for everyone...
