Fishtail (braces back) trousers - pleats or not

Sator said that the fit of wide brace trousers like those makes renders pleats unnecessary.

Forward pleats, they improve the line of the trouser with the crease from the pleat travelling into the crease down the leg.

Absolutely. All my fishtail back trousers have double forward pleats. I think it's a very elegant look.
