First Uniqlo experience, pretty impressed.

I was in nyc today, getting drenched, and made it a point to check out Uniqlo. I gotta say I was pleasantly surpised. The selection was pretty nice, not mind-boggling (I hate exploring new stores this time of year, its 50% polos wherever you go), but solid, and the quality was impressive for what it was. I left with a nice summerweight military-styled parka and some slim khakis for work. Both were 100% cotton (pants even had cotton herringbone lining) and had really smooth, satisfying zippers, and not a loose thread in sight. The prices were H&M level, but the Swedes would have sold me poly-blends with ****** construction. I'm looking forward to going back in the fall, when I'm sure the wares will be cooler.

Did you see what kind of jeans they're offering currently?

I bought those slim khakis as well and I love them, I might go get them in the army green color.

I keep seeing this brand being mentioned and now I recall passing by the huge Uniqlo factory when I was touring China's countryside.
