First time I've asked for some real advice here.

Many of you know me as the guy that hardly posts at all here. Realizing that I'm pretty good with suits and anything slightly above casual, I've realized my streetwear really needs a makeover.

So, I'll start with the basics. I'm 6'1, 170 lb, fairly toned. Fair skin. Short, razor-cut hair. I tend to go towards neutral colours such as tan, brown, and grey, and cool colours - blue and green.

Some of my main items:
-various fitted tees, plain or with decoration
-assorted dress shirts that invariably get roll-sleeved, de-stayed and used as casual wear
-a few low rise bootcut jeans in blue denim and one pair in brown corduroy
-Vans Old Skool lace ups in black/white
-brown bone necklace with some green beads here and there
-web and D-ring belts, army surplus
-casual cotton sportcoats
-grey cotton zip cardigan and surplus olive drab wool sweater (kind with epaulettes)

Items I'm considering:
-grey denim (a pair at Banana Republic caught my eye)
-button front cardigan in black or grey
-flannel trousers
-overcoat

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

flannel trousers and overcoat don't sound streetwear to me.

Jovan, not sure what dept you need help in....?

There's so many sub-styles within 'streetwear' that the options are unlimited.

I just think I need to overhaul my image, that's all.

I'm guessing more of a clean cut neo-preppy type of streetwear look.....?

Something like that, Jason. I just mainly think the way I dress now is pretty unremarkable.

Here's a few suggestions. This is stuff that I wear most of the time.

Nudie dry denim jeans (I have the bootcut ola)
button up cardigan sweater (mine is black)
zip mock neck sweater (mine is grey)
cashmere crewneck sweater (mine is dark grey)
Ralph Lauren long sleeve polo shirts (burgandy and green)
white button down shirt (I like a white collar under sweaters)
suede driving shoes (casual but a bit dressier than sneakers)
zip up hoodie (I wear mine with a collared shirt or polo most of the time)
field or military jacket
american apparel tshirts for basics and layering
