Hi, I bought a suit on SuitSupply, fit Lazio, size 96. Album, below pictures embedded on site.

Would you say it fits, how it doesn't and are the parts that do not fit ideally fixable easily by a tailor?

I feel like the pants should be hemmed & tapered, but that's an easy fix. I'm slightly worried about the jacket being too long, but maybe it's supposed to be that way?

The sleeves are also up for lenghtening, but that's an easy fix too.

Thanks! This is my first suit (about 320$).

A tailor will probably be able to lengthen the arms to an appropriate length if there is enough excess fabric under the cuff or at the top of the sleeve. Since you'll want to show some cuff, I believe lengthening the arms won't be much of a problem. As you've already mentioned, hemming and tapering the pants is an easy fix.

The length of the jacket is good. Please don't destroy the suit by shortening the jacket. Also, be careful about how much you taper the pants as they already appear to be quite slim. You can ask a tailor if and by how much the pants need to be tapered and if they know what they're doing, they'll be honest with you. Personally, I think that once the pants are properly hemmed, they will drape down your leg much better than they do now. If you want to look more fashion forward, you can try tapering the pants minimally.

I suggest that you let out the side vents by carefully cutting the thread holding the flaps together. This will allow you to see if the back needs to be cleaned up. It doesn't look like there is much excess fabric in the back, but you can't know for sure without opening up the vents.

Nice suit btw.

Thank you.

I intentionally left the vents unopened so that I could return the suit if it somehow wasn't fixable by a tailor - hence the reason for my post.

I intend on visiting one of the best tailors in my city that only does suits (MTM and bespoke as well), since I have spent a large sum on the suit I though I'd go all in and not go cheap on some average tailor.

However, it seems like from your reply the suit should be good enough for a ready to wear and that only small adjustments are needed. I'll wait for more replies, but thanks nonetheless.

In my opinion, the suit is pretty close to your measurements already. Hemming, sleeve lengthening, and possible cleanup on the back. From the pictures, the lapels seem to lay pretty flat, no visible collar gaps or excess buckling and I also don't see the need for additional waist suppression as the jacket is already designed with sufficient skirting. I'd say, SS seems to be your label.

One detail that other members might bring up is the closed quarters on the jacket, but I believe a tailor might be able to find a way to help remedy this.

If you’re doing something about the length of the sleeves, you might want to ask your tailor if he can do anything about the sleeve pitch to eliminate / reduce the wrinkles on your upper arm

Agree, length of the jacket is good. I would not taper the trousers. Overall the fit looks good, especially for an off-the-rack suit.

what I would suggest in order of importance and cost:
1. lengthen sleeves and hem trousers (necessary, inexpensive)
2. there seems to be a little tightness over the shoulder blades (see the lines of tension between your shoulder blades in the back) but this is minor. Could probably be fixed fairly easily but I'd ask your tailor
3. sleeve pitch as @Chowkin mentions but this will probably cost more as the sleeves have to be removed and reattached.

I agree with everything said above. Only difference is I would taper the pants a little. Not too much but still a little bit. You are a tall guy. Length of the jacket is spot on. Cleaning the sleeves a little might be a good option too. Overall it's a good fit.
