Looks good.

More relaxed fit than what I wear, but good all round if that's what you were going for. Arm-holes could be higher.

Nice aerobic poses ;-)

Looks good - assuming you want a classic relaxed fit it is perfect (if you are shooting for a true slim fit then obviously you would need to loose some of the fabric in the chest/waist).

Much too big in almost every dimension. Reduce sleeve length, cuff width, forearm measurement, bicep measurement, armhole, chest/back, and waist.

Thanks for the reply. How much should i reduce it? 0.25" or 0.5"?

Thanks

Agree with a lot of what has been said, but think that the armhole is actually fine. Not sure that you want hat much higher.

In terms of how much to reduce, I would just tell Patrick your general sense of how you feel about the shirt and go with his recommendation. Much more reliable than " recommendations from SF members based on a few pics.

Have you washed it a few times? I think if you wear it about four times and let it "settle in" then wear that shirt to your next fitting you will nail it on the next order.

That looks nice for a first shirt.

I am a shirtmaker
I would not change any thing on the shirt
make a few adjustments on the collar.
Sleeve lenght and body are fine
very nice

Do you usually favor relaxed fitting shirts? I understand that American/British shirtmakers tend to make baggy shirts for old, conservative men, while continental shirtmakers like Charvet and Lanvin make shirts as close fitting as possible while still allowing full movement. I think the latter is the more appealing style.

Some SF members prefer shirts with a very slim look and feel which is OK as a personal choice. At the same time it is also OK to go less slim (which does not mean bulking up giant amounts of fabric). Keep that in mind when making adjustments based on member comments: Their understanding of perfection might differ from yours.

Yes and no. There are universal things that are quite important. For instance, high armpits allow for a wider range of motion without the shirt becoming untucked. I recently made a mistake of going dancing wearing one of the few OTR shirts that I own. After 15 minutes I gave up and untucked the shirt completely. Every raise of my hand pulled the fabric so much that the shirt billowed around my waist and eventually escaped the tight grip of my pants. It was annoying to say the least. I suspect that the OP's shirt would behave in a similar manner. And it would make me a very irritated man. Now, when I'm wearing my MTM shirts, I can dance all night and come out of the club/studio with a near-perfectly tucked shirt.

Is that windowpane-patterned or just plain white? My monitor sucks...
