Hello all,

Just got my first pair of raw Jeans, Regular Ralf in Dry Selvage. Want feedback regarding the fit as I really have no clue about how it's supposed to look. Also should I get them hemmed? Thanks.

I was lifting my arms so they wouldn't be in the picture so that might have something to do with it :p.

Looks good to me.
I like my jeans to sit low.
Once you break yours in they'll be perfect.
I'm sure others will advise you differently but I would not hem those.

You have three options:

a. hem

b. stack

c. cuff

Pick whichever you like best!

reg. ralf is a bootcut if i recall correctly.

so stacking is not one of his options.

Is stacking something you have to do or is it the natural stacking that results? (I'm actually serious :p)

I understand the idea of only offering straight/tapered jeans in one length to cut down on overhead/massive inventories, but for bootcut?

If you have to hem a pair of bootcut jeans say 3-4" won't the look be totally off and weird?

you don't want to be stepping on your hems, that's for sure. if that happens then cut them down to size.

i suspect hemming a bootcut 3-4'' would make it look good and not like a bootcut

I would hem to leave maybe an extra 2 inches from a no break inseam, if that makes sense to you...

they look too big to me...especially if you take future stretching into consideration.
