Well Ricky came through pretty quick. I ordered this shirt on 28th October, and it arrived 15th November, pretty much bang on time. The shirt is the #60 Dobby White Herringbone. It feels nice and soft on, and I'd expect that it will be even better after a first wash. Details of the order were:

Collar Style: Collar Style # P-15, (British Classic Spread Collar)
Collar Stay: Removable Collar Stay
Interlining: Soft
Tie space: 1/8" (Standard)
Back Height: 1 1/2" (Standard)
Stitching for Collar & Cuff: 1/4" (Our Standard)
Collar Point: Same As Our Standard
Color of Button Hole and Button Thread: White
Cuff Style: Single Cuff Style #5S (Round Double Button)
Contract Collar: Self Collar & Cuff
Cuff Height: 3" (Long)
Pocket Style : Select one
Number of Pocket: No Pocket
Front Placket: French Front with Stitching
Width of Placket: 1 1/2" (Standard)
Sleeve: Long Sleeve
Sleeves **** Extra Button: With Sleeves Extra Button
Shirt Tail: Regular Tail
Shoulder Pleat: Side Pleat
Select one: With Split Yoke
Gusset Triangle Color: Blue
Button Seclections:: Nature 3.4mm thickness Trocas Buttons
Monogram Style: None

I intend to order a second shirt right away, so I'd appreciate your comments on fine-tuning the fit. It seems a bit baggier than I'd expected, especially in the sleeves. What do you think?

(P.S. Forgive my exposing you to the full horror of my waistline, but sometimes we have to be brutally honest with ourselves, no?)

Looks pretty good.

Shoulders might be a little too wide, but that's personal preference.

Wash it two or three times before tweaking measurements
and re-ordering.

This is a big self measuring challenge because your right shoulder is very different from your left -- it slopes more.

I also suspect that the sleeves are too short, especially if the shirt hasn't been washed yet. Perhaps get another inch on the length, also consider a larger wrist measurement.

Looks like a nice quality fabric. I would make the yoke shorter by 1" on each side and then make the sleeves 1" longer than they are now. So if you took 1" off the sides of the shoulders then I guess you'd need the sleeves almost 2" longer to compensate.

Wow, that's great turnaround time. I ordered at the end of Sept. and have an order number but am still patiently waiting.

I agree with the above comments. Wear and wash it a couple of times and then see. I would guess that the sleeves will have to come down an inch or so.

I think it looks terrific and great choice on the collar style!
