First Indochino suit - Please critique

Hi everybody!

I bought an Indochino suit during one of their promo code sales recently to see how they are. What do think should be changed? I hardly wear suits, but my inexperienced eyes think the shoulders need some work (I may have selected the wrong shoulder type when ordering) and the back of the suit jacket has some stress between the shoulder blades.

Please let me know what you think. Thanks for viewing my thread!

Just like this poster, I find that the button stance is a little high on yours. Also, the sleeve lengths seem just a little long, especially your left.

Better than most....

See if you can have someone help straightening the jacket and retake pictures.

Thanks for the feedback so far guys, I really appreciate it. I'll try to retake some pics later.

There's a lack of comments, because it's generally not a bad fit so there's little to critique, and at the same time the suit is nothing to write home about, so you don't get much praise either.

I think this suit suffers from the same problem every other Indochino suit I've seen lately. The button placement is way too high. Other than that, maybe you might want to get a tailor to clean up the back of the suit around your waist area. But really, it's just nitpicking.

This is as high as it can be to still look good. Yours is higher.

I would still make it lower if I were making a custom suit for myself.

Generally, it's best to have the top button around your natural waist area or slightly below it.

It was $300 shipped after the 25% promo code. It also included 2 MTM dress shirts as part of the promo.

Is the natural waist between your lower ribs and belly button where the body creases as you bend side to side?
