I'm looking for some fashion advice for a first date. Some basic info on both of us: Me - mid-40 male, 6'-3", thin build but also have small love handles. Dress 50/50 between business casual and shirt/tie at work, so I have some dress shoes and nice button ups along with nice jeans. Her - mid-40 female, nice figure and dresser. Seems like fashion is very high on her list. First date will be a tad casual. Nice restaurant with a few drinks. Lights are a little low in the restaurant and main courses are $20-25 each. Not high end but better than a family restaurant. I'm looking to impress but not blow a ton of cash since it's date #1. It's summer and humid in the Northeast, so a jacket would most likely be out of the question. Still want to impress anyway. I was thinking one of my dress button ups with a nice, dark pair of jeans but I'm not sure what shoes to wear. I have a standard pair of black dress shoes but would could use a new pair and thought about buying a pair for this outfit. Thoughts? If it's a tad budget conscious, I'd be willing to get an entirely new outfit. Also, what about accessories? I have a nice watch but wasn't sure if other things would look good. Thanks!
