1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I have to admit that this flame war was a guilty pleasure . . . like watching a fight in the hallway in high school.  For all the newcomers who missed the ClassyFreddy episode, policy provided a pretty good imitation.

Gruber denied being a terrorist. He described himself as "an exceptional thief."

True enough, and he was (or at least he would have been if plot points hadn't required otherwise).

Yes, I agree. Did anyone else find it odd that a white guy that was so quick to stand up in the face of "racism" was throwing out homosexual lines left and right? That one confused me because most people that I encounter that are that racially sensitive are also very supportive of homosexuality.

In addition to the black suits thread (was that the one that resulted in the banning of yet another of Kalra's incarnations?) I remember a thread from a few months back on shoe color with navy suits that resulted in the self-banning of prinseugen.  I guess you hijack threads at your own peril...

Jester, I hope Chan resolves the situation to your satisfaction.

I think the black suit thread resulted in Dr. Bresch's self-imposed exile from SF after a sword battle with Manton.
