Thinking about buying a pair of black AE Park Avenues if a good deal springs up since they are the go-to shoe for 'affordable black dress shoe'. Now that I have my black shoe covered, what should I buy for a versatile brown shoe? What type of brown would be most versatile?

If you are doing the Park Ave for your only black shoe, the Fifth Ave would work great as your only brown. It's the same as the Park Ave, but has a row of punches across the toe cap.
