Good time tonight. The shoe Appreciation alone was worth it. I'll be dreaming of those mink suede captoes and the suede/calf boots. The free apps and pisco drinks was a nice bonus.
Great to see the usual suspects and the new faces. Weird balmy SF night, for sure. Thanks for putting this together!

The shoes were lovely. Spoo, I took pics of the blue and green shoes for you. Ed, you weren't there, were you?

Good drinks, good food, good confab. Thanks to MTM and the SF mafia.

Thanks to Mark (emptym) for an outstanding Meet-Up.
Great to see all the regulars as well as the new faces.
Do people actually wear those shoes? To me they're
more like sculpture: to be viewed and appreciated.

I'm pretty sure PSG, medtech (at both 1 and 7 o'clock?!), and Salad were all gone by the time this pic was taken. I didn't see it happen, so I'd probably left, too. I think the blue pants/suede combo is Comrade.

THanks for coming, everyone. Thanks too for the food and pisco, J and Fok. Good stuff. The Duck Rillete with Pickled Onion on Crostini was decadent. (At least I think it was. That was the ground up stuff on toast, no?)

PSG has moar pics, AB.

Spoo, my fav. green shoe was the monk. I believe http://this was the one.

The circle pic was taken at the very end, when most had gone. Remaining are:

Binge, Imatlas, Comrade, exhaze, Archaivist, Chay, and me (yes barong), in no particular order.

Some of the AS handgrade shoes from the event

(Note the navy blue in the upper right corner)

Probably the most fondled shoe of the evening was this mink colored suede:

Later food and Pisco cocktails were served. (The Pisco is made in Peru but imported by three San Francisco fellas)

I was a little late snapping pics of the food. There was plenty more.

Pisco Sour:

One of the owners gave us tastes of straight Pisco. It reminded me of a better clean, blanca tequila. They offered it mixed as a Pisco Sour, Pisco Punch, Pisco Margareta and Pisco Manhattan.

I would like to say "Thank You" to Styleforum for sponsoring this Ambassador Event.

We had a great turnout of around 18 guys. It was a very friendly group of new and long-term members of all ages. We look forward to future events!
