I just received a gorgeous Ring Jacket from the USA, and now I am looking for a local tailor in Stockholm to finish it (cuff buttonholes mainly, plus maybe small adjustments). Does anyone have a good recommendation? There are a lot of alterations plus dry cleaning shops around, but I wonder if this kind of work is suitable for them or not.

Hope this answer is not too late, but I've used two alterations tailors in Stockholm:
- Vivian Skräddare on Riddargatan 54: Let out two jackets, one mainly in the waist and the other also in the arms. Fixed buttonholes.
- Elias skrädderi: Extended the sleeves of a jacket, widened trouser legs, widened trouser waistband, Adjusted length of trousers, added turnups to a pair of trousers, fixed open vents on a jacket.

Both did a good job. I'd say Vivian is friendlier but Elias has done more complicated work for me. I've tested both with simple things first and then moved on with more complicated work. You may want to try that too.
