Finding Neopolitian style in Florence?

Are there shops in Florence where I could find a neopolitian-style sportcoat? Looks like I'm going to visit this year, but only for a week. Not sure that amount of time would allow for a bespoke item, but perhaps there are RTW jackets I could check out?

Recommendations, advice please! It will give me somethng to plan and ponder when I go back overseas for work next week

Last time I was there, I found everything to be very expensive. There are a few nice small shops if you wander around, but a lot of what is sold there are just the big expected names that you can buy in the US for dollars instead of Euro. IIRC Tere is a HUGE Corneliani flagship store, however, if you like that brand, that you might want to check out (though it is not neapolitan).

Tie Your Tie is a nice store, though I can't say whether it is Neapolitan or not. The shopping is not great in Florence, at all. Liverano's shop has some nice RTW stuff. Check out the shoe makers.

One of Allegri's only three stores is in Florence; if you like their outerwear it might be worthwhile to check them out.

texas-- nothing, if it has a soft shoulder. I'm really starting to like that look for sportcoats, especially. I'll def check out Liverano's RTW line and Tie your Tie.

Does Cisternino have RTW stuff?

+1 Tie your Tie did have RTW sports coats etc, does MTO Burini shirts (the makers of Brioni shirts). They are just down the road from this SHOE MAKER ... Hidetaka Fukaya http://www.styleforum.net/showthread.php?t=82864&highlight=Florence Shoes are a MUST in Florence! I mapped out a couple this summer, see this post: http://www.styleforum.net/showpost.php?p=1386230&postcount=32 Bemer is worth a visit to, both the bespoke store and the RTW.

I've been to both Florence and Naples and prefer the Florentine suit style a bit more. Don't discard their style simply because Neapolitan tailoring is the 'forum-approved' version.

Liverano & Liverano, in particular, are quite good.

Witmer is quite good but she is expensive (2,000 euros IIRC). Mannina is excellent and (relatively) cheap.

That's why I went with Mannina, being relatively cheap and all.

Foxx, I'm looking for a hotel in Florence. Where do you stay? I also need one for Rome.

In Florence, there's a beautiful little place a few blocks from the Duomo called The Mona Lisa that my wife and I like a lot.

In Rome, I usually stay at the De La Ville which is right next to the Hassler at the top of the Spanish Steps, but significantly less expensive.
