Unfortunately my location in Alaska does not make for very good shopping. We have nordstrom, banana republic, gap, abercrombie, jc penny, and that's about it. I recently did some shopping out of town and a little online, but where is the best place to find brands like prada, john varvatos, gucci, dolce & gabanna, and others online?Right now the only place I've seen is bluefly. Any others? Also, is ebay a trustworthy place to buy clothes, it seems a lot of members here have had success with it. I've never bought anything from it because I guess I've been paranoid if I'm not buying directly from a dealer's website.Thanks.

There is a lot of good to be found on eBay, but most of it is older styling. It's almost like outlet shopping, but every once in awhile people will try to pass off fakes. Just make sure to check feedback ratings and such, and always remember that if it looks too good to be true, it probably is. I would also check out Yoox, (www.yoox.com), and other than that I don't really know what to tell ya. You can check runway images at www.firstview.com, and I think you can order by phone some items from New York and LA stores. You would be hard pressed to find a gallery of images off the runway of clothes from particular designers.
