6 of those shirts seems like a lot! I can see though with mixing and matching that would be useful.

Those oxfords are nice. Is Stacy Adams a decent shoe? Never heard of them. Again the price is right.

I DO need a suit. I just donated the only suit I owned (a brown one) because it was way too big on me now. So that is definitely on my list. While I do not need one (ever) for work, I did recently attend a wedding and a funeral. Both times I had to wear sport coats and trousers (that at the time, didn't quite fit right.) So yes, on my list.

    Fine. Get two each. :thumbs-up:

Seriously though, you should have 5 blue and 5 white shirts. Enough to only need to wash shirts every two weeks.

With your budget, you don't even get to ask that question. :D

    Hehe duly noted!

Question on the Khakis - can I just get another pair of chinos in Khaki color? I've always kind of hated the way Khakis fit me, and looked on me. I haven't had a pair in quite some time. From what I have read, the line between Khakis and Chinos is a very fine one.

I was able to get a pair of Gap Khakis, so checking that off. I also picked up another white shirt from MW. Also, my check shirt came in from J. Hilburn (made to measure) and it looked and fits fantastically. No luck on the suede oxfords, the Stacy Adams shoe was not available in my size. I have had little luck finding anything. After searching around, here's what my alternatives seem to be:

    These Ted Bakers for $109.

    These Ralph Laurens for $150

    These Florsheims

    on eBay, this Neumok

I worry about the used shoe, I have never tried on AE and have no idea how they fit. It looks a bit worn on the toe.

Next - I have the opportunity to get a pair of trousers from J. Hilburn. I think I have it narrowed down to 2.

    The light grey revenge

    The charcoal herringbone

I don't have any black shoes or belt, so not sure the charcoal would make sense. I really dig the grey revenge though.

I like the Ted Bakers most by far.

The light grey trousers are nice. Really nice. I'd definitely grab them.

I still like the Ted Bakers most by far. Those loafers are too dressy for me too, just too slick.

Yes. Buy the Ted bakers. As for loafers, those Cole Haans you posted are my favorites of the bunch.

I got the Ted Bakers - very nice actually. Hate the laces though, too short and they come undone. I need a replacement.

I like those loafers a lot. I tried on some of the others I had listed and nothing really stuck. I'll put those on the list. Thanks!
