Finding a tailor- Men's Warehouse?

Looking around my local area, it appears as if the only tailors are a couple Asian Americans with limited English ability and then a Men's Warehouse... the latter's website says they have a tailor at every location, but is he/she available for servicing garments NOT purchased at men's warehouse? Are they expensive and/or skilled?

Plus they may have hot daughters.

LOL!
Most likely the ones at Men's Wearhouse are Asian too.

If you got your clothes at a high end shop, you can ask the salesman who they use for alterations. Everything is usually outsourced to a local tailor.

Same here. My tailor is an adorable Asain woman who wears a lot of low-cut stuff.

At least, I think she's a tailor.

I'm not sure I would trust most Men's Warehouse locations with doing great work, but it depends on the location. The cost is their charge for a garment purchased there plus $6 surcharge for every alteration on an outside garment.

The Men's Warehouse near me does happen to have a nice Asian lady who does excellent work. My advice for Men's Warehouse tailors if you must is to find one that will pin the jacket for you and work with you, not just eyeball things and chalk stuff.

But still, I'll echo: trust in the Asians.

They do accept stuff not purchased at Mens Wearhouse for a surcharge of $4 (in my area). I have actually found their quotes to be cheaper than the usual mom 'n pops around. Can't comment on the quality of work though as I have never used them.
