whats the quality like on Finamore napoli shirts? I saw a few i like at shopthefinest but have never seen them in person. I read a little about them in a Robb Report article on fine shirts and they were mentioned with Borrelli and the like but wondering are they good? Whats the detail of handwork and how are their fabrics?

I have just one, which I bought from Ian Daniels at shopthefinest (the world's finest on EBay). It is a fantastic shirt:

-- MOP buttons
-- great fabric (unique and colorful fabric too)

I really like the fit and "set" of the collar too. No handwork that I can tell. In that respect, it is more like Lorenzini or Brioni or Battistoni than Kiton or Borrelli or Barba. I think they are less expensive than Borrelli (and Kiton of course) though.

I have 3 that I got from Vacca. They're nice-looking, but fragile (like their other mass-produced Neopolitan brethren). Mine have hand-sewn sleeves and collar attachments, along with the usual hand-embroidered buttonholes and buttons (whose attachments are shanked). The fabrics are quite nice.

I'd rather have a Borrelli in that class of shirts because I like their buttons and buttonholes more, but if I'm paying full-retail, I'd just go bespoke which would be cheaper (unless you use Alex K.), fit better, and last a lot longer --- my Sulka customs have been through a lot more in 7 years, and look better than some of the Finamores and Borrellis after a couple of couple launderings.

Mine too. Handtailoring-wise, I put them somewhere between Borrelli and Barba. I think they're a good value. Another thing worth mentioning is that the cuts are trim, and the armholes unbelievably high.

There are different cuts within the line, but whichever ones I own not only fit true to size, but they are among the best fitting shirts I own.

You'll find that none of them come with a sleeve length of that length. I presume you have taken the measurement correctly from the neck, and if so your arms are quite short. You would have to have your tailor take up the sleeves from the shoulder, potentially spoiling the handwork on the shoulder.

Not all cuts are trim. Mine from Shop the Finest was marked full- cut. In fact it is almost too full for me- 16.5 neck and my chest is actually 44"

 No, take up the sleeve from the bottom/cuff (move up the entire gauntlet) -shoulder & handwork remain intact!
