I think that you need the sarcasm meter on this one, Drew. IN other news, just got my... 12th pair of CPs. So, I am up to 15 pairs on rotation now. 12 CPs and 3 MMMs (1 hightop chuck-alikes, 2 German Army Trainer variations). I really wear about 5 pairs of the CPs, so... really, only a 8 pair rotation. It's remarkable when your wardrobe is theme and variation how you notice little variations in texture, color, silhouette. For example, light grey CP mids are perfect with my outfit today, but the white ones are just a little too jarring, and throw the silhouette off by overaccentuating the heel.

haha. that is a lot man. I'd maybe get a few more shoes but I don't have any more space in my shoe closet (and I've commandeered 1/3rd of my girlfriend's already for my boots and dress shoes)... I don't even know what kind of shoes I want... keep looking at Giuliano Fujiwaras again (the new ones on CP soles)...

    I like the grey bballs.

Funny how there was a pair of those sitting in the sufu market for a week at $140 with no takers, then they sold within an hour of being talked up here last night. Something tells me those are on their way to an SFer. I would have bought them but they were too small.

Probably not worldwide at least. Like I implied, for the last few months I saw a lot of kids in Tokyo doing that "W style" (this is what it was called by mags) which is shorts over leggings. Not in the atrocious way as those denim shorts, but still pretty bad. Of course, this will likely mostly disappear once Men's no-no et al start to push some other trend.
