1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I don't think any single piece works well with any other piece. shirt, belt, jeans, shoes all not vibing at all. despite what SF says, raw slim-straight denim doesn't work with everything

@RFX I'd unbutton another button on the shirt, and tongue out.

it reminds me of how I rock my grey BoO (similar colour and sleeves rolled) so I kinda dig it. I see, by the way everything fits, why you think it's shit but what I like is that I can see myself rockin a similar outfit with those kicks.

    ^^Shit is clutch dawg.

And I think I'd rather slip into Rick Owen's woman than one of his sneakers.

Am I a sneaker Nazi if I declare that the only sneakers even worth thinking of owning are Converse (Chucks and JPs) and Spring Court?
You're not very tolerant of other opinions, are you?
I just started reading through this thread but holy shit if this guy isn't a complete idiot. I recently got these Lanvin sneakers (I'm obsessed with anything that has laces + straps right now) and I love them. [IMG]

Are Lanvin's produced in a size equivalent to US 13? If so, is there any place where I could find them? So frustrating when companies don't make shoes/sneakers in larger sizes

Magnificent Bastard has a list of 10 recommended sneakers. Most under $100 so they probably don't qaulify for baller status, but I think there are some pretty good picks.

Offer him like 200 or something. He originally listed them for 180gbp but has apparently now decided they're worth more than that despite being a size very few people will need.

Maybe good deals don't belong in the baller thread, but for those that were looking for real GATs, here's a tip: www.ebay.de. Use keywords like "bundeswehr sportschuhe," "bundeswehr turnschuhe," or "bundeswehr hallenschuhe." The first set of keywords will turn up almost all results, the last two will find any stragglers. I got a pair earlier this week for 28.40 eur, under $40 usd, shipped, and shipping was under a week, so they're not exactly expensive or hard to find if you know how. Got mine off a seller named want2newyork, he spoke enough English to make the purchase simple as hell.

What is sizing like? If you could compare to common projects or your true dress shoe size that would be great.
