Oh my god how did this thread go to shit so fast. Does anyone else feel like these sneakers were a good idea with bad execution? The laced backs look pretty ballin' imo, but the shape of them just looks... horribly horribly wrong [IMG] [IMG]
The ones KVA did for his own line recently have been pretty bad imo. There's a gold pair in B&S which I would love in white. I don't like how he does the little name ornament on the back though, looks contrived as hell. I'd probably try to break it off. [IMG] These look pretty slick too. [IMG] Thoughts on Generic Man? They share the cp vibe. I'm giving these a shot. No tron steez. [IMG]

I have some Penguin sneakers that I like (because there is a gold penguin on the side). Literally I bought them for the penguin. They are pretty hip looking though beyond that little detail. Otherwise I have a converse pair with velcro straps, and a pair of other shoes with velcro straps. Im going to personally bring back velcro, hell they sell velcro shoes in stores now. Back when I started wearing them a few years ago I could only find them online.

There has been some skepticism hereabouts on the quality of GM but for my money they are every bit as good as my CPs, I've owned 2 pairs of GM and 3 CPs. It's just a matter of finding a GM model that works. The sportsman you pictured is great (I'm selling a pair in black caviar leather). Sportsman lows' the toebox is fatter than CP achilles.

Lanvins fit really big. I usually wear a 9.5-10 in chucks/JPs and a 7 fits me perfectly in Lanvins.

Speaking of Lanvins, I want this navy suede low-tops.

That's weird. I picked up a pair of lows from gilt a month or so ago in a uk9/us10 and they were ridiculously tight. I'm a true 10.5.

I haven't found Lanvin sizing to be off. I'm a 10/44, I wear a 44 in Pierre Hardy sneakers and Margiela shoes (haven't tried MMM sneakers)
