Really don't understand the source of this desire you seem to have to impose your financial priorities on others.

Financial? Please stop making not any sense.

In terms of chucks, j crew, whatever, you have this thing where it's not worth spending more than X$ (where X is a relatively small number) on a piece of clothing or a fit, which is fine, do your thing. But because you do it you have this missionary attitude where everyone else should too or they're doing something wrong. That is what doesn't make sense.

^^ this is why this thread was never made been on a raf sneaker trip lately: digging the green astros on forwardforward, though $700 is way out of my range for sneakers: [IMG] also also been feelin the black velcro lows on yoox for a long long time. too bad theyre not in my size or i woulda copped over the weekend sale for sure.
I kind of like the color for what it is but it'd be hard to pull off, browns are the only colors I can think of that would work with the green And for Jet, [IMG]

My first Nike's since... middle school? Don't think I'll even wear them.. just liked them enough to keep/collect.

If it's once in a while, no. But if he insists on being a contrarian (i.e. a dick) without actually contributing anything positive, I may tell him to stay out of these threads, yes. I like the Lanvins... in theory. But as someone said before, they are chunky. I can't imagine wearing the lows with anything remotely slim. I like my Margielas (chuck-alikes and Austrian trainers alike), but find that CPs are a little more versatile, especially for travel.

    You're wrong, dude.

In this case, especially, I am not looking at price but at attractiveness. Most other sneakers just don't look good.

Thought I'd throw the grey suede/leather shell toe CPs I posted in my last WAYWT in the ring. I've owned and tried various CP models and just really took to these. They have some contrast in the design while keeping the same grey tone throughout. I did own and regret selling the court mids, as I thought the leather on those were great as well as the toe shape. Ah well.

I don't find Lanvins that "chunky". [IMG] Tucked in and it doesn't seem too bulky. [IMG] Same with the boat shoes (yes I was wearing the same jeans). I just hate the laces on these, need to change em up. [IMG] [IMG]
