I would advise someone to order Lanvin in their usual UK size unless their feet are narrow. I am 10us/43cp/9uk/9 Lanvin. I would not size down to a Lanvin 8.

I don't know about that, I have a pretty wide feet and I wear a 7 in Lanvin while I wear an 8 in MMM, Raf and CP. Then again I have found that my feet is just plain weird.

I like the paper gats they had. Not that actually paper application itself but stitching and everything was really sleek.

If the soles weren't so chunky they'd be a lot better, like the 2nd ones

But those are the old soles that everybody loves so much. [IMG]

The gum version of the soles looks slimmer nut I don't think it actually is slimmer though.

The paper gats are actually what came! I agree that it's really sleek and that's what drew me to it, but the paper application adds just enough texture to break things up and make it really interesting. I will post pics soon. Wish I had a decent camera though, I don't think iPhone cam will really do the sneakers justice.

Take a picture outside in the sunlight. Really good lighting and steady hands and you can get a pretty decent pics out of an iPhone.

Would love to see a pic of them as well. I wonder if they'll crack and chip off like the painted ones.

I have those. They also did bags and other leather goods that way. I really like the paper application. The inherent messiness as the paper flakes away and the sleekness of the stitching and design (the toe cap, etc... is a stitched detail instead of a separate piece) contrast nicely.
