I'd be interested in hearing whether any of you guys have ever tried actually running in Lanvin (or other fashion labels') "running" sneakers?

I've had my eye on Lanvins for a while, but I'd want them to actually run in them, not just as a casual sneaker. Not sure if that's a good idea. I've been running in Kayanos for as long as I can remember. I doubt a designer-label product would be able to compete with a specialist running-shoe brand, but maybe I should try?

to be fair, if you're a 9 and taking a size 8, that's sizing down isn't it? i take a 8-9 normally, and am a lanvin 7 in cap toes, which are still a bit roomy. and to be honest, it really depends where you're getting your lanvins. if you're at the mall (barneys, bergdorf), they have often brought me US sizing 7 when i requested a "7" and was obviously a lanvin 6, so it didn't fit.

(For clarity:) Lanvin sizing is UK sizing, so I'm a 12 US and I buy size 11 Lanvin -- that is buying true to size. Sizing down would be buying Lanvin 10s (for me), and I've risked it twice but I ended up with two pairs of shoes I had to resell because they were too small.

anyone else feeling the FOG highs? i think they look pretty dope...very surprised that they haven't sold out (or most of the other stuff). maybe there is some rationality in this world (not).

but seriously, 995 for the high tops (in range of ricks), or some track pants for 995...hrm...

I'm feeling them for sure.. but 995 euro/$1180 USD? I'm a supporter of what Jerry does for the most part but the pricing this collection was absurd. $900 gym shorts is where I draw the line. Actually, far before then.

i like the classic black nylon + white sole FOG Highs, but just way too expensive for me to purchase. definitely worth owning since its a unique and statement piece.

Hey buddy, wondering how they feel now? I'm a sz 12 in Nike, and am unsure whether to go 44 or 45. My CP Chelsea Boots in 44 were fine length-wise, but a little uncomfortable as i've got a wide foot.

They feel great, the leather is contouring nicely around the width of my feet. I would go with the 44, unless you normally wear an E or wider. But if you're looking for comfort right out of the box, you may get away with the 45 depending on how much extra room there is at the front. I couldn't go with the 43 because there was close to an inch of room left. I drive a manual transmission car, and the occasional spirited driving that requires heel and toe - thus, needing some right-sized shoes.

Conceptual Application ( Con-App ), from 1st season - made in Portugal I think. I'm not sure why this cool brand could not survive, probably the lack of stamina. I own both colors and they're extremely comfortable. Last image is the sand one.
