1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

edit: beat me to it. They show up on eBay every now and again as well as Barneys and usually have steep discounts.

Legit check: [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] Code inside (can't get enough light to get a pic): (white lettering on the leather): AM5ME 2A 011 10 Made in Italy Lanvin embossed inside under heel area. On the left shoe, I can see very faint white lettering, like it was rubbed off or something: a numeral 9 and "in Italy" through the punch. Picked them off of eBay from a guy in NJ. There is no branding on the bottom of the sole. Some part of me thinks they look a lot like the $65 knock-offs you see on ebay, but with enough differences to make sense (they use real photos, but send copies?) God.. They reek of cigs, too.

How much did you pay? I'd not say that they look very authentic. [IMG]

~$200 with shipping. I know we have a bunch of collectors here who can spot the details, which is why I ask. [IMG]

We'll wait and see. [IMG] I hope I'm wrong with my bad feeling.
