1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Been into strapped sneakers lately, what are my options and how do they compare? I only know Rafs, Anns, and CP has strapped lows.

The newer season CP velcros are a crappy attempt, Rafs of those for sure.

Just picked these up on a deal...wanted some color options on pants/shorts that would look good with these. Never had a shoe with a red gum sole prior, it feels a little foreign to me but I like the way a solid color GAT looks. Can they pretty much go with anything?

what about sizing and where to get them for the best price?

and i was actually thinking about getting them in all-white since i kinda want to beat them up and i feel as if the all-white will show wear and age the best

    do these distress well, though?

i have a few pairs of lanvins, but need to do some budgeting. are there any brands that have a similar look? obviously the cap toe and the clean lines and chunky soles are defining features of lanvin - unfortunately i haven't found anything that looks quite as simple and distinct.

D&G has some decent sneakers, but still has too much branding on the sides, and tend to have perforations which look dumb.

    thanks

T R U E . Save the money and buy the real deal. You will always have that "I should have bought these" feeling when you see someone wearing the style you initially wanted. It will only get worse, as it they will look more cool on other ppl feet.
