1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I don't have one yet, but I'm going to buy one, are they comfortable?

Yes they are comfortable even for a whole day of walking but not crazy comfy as roshe run NM. Though among the baller kicks, the valentino's rubber sole is the best one in terms of wear. Been using since last year with higher mileage than my my other shoes. And heel barely shows wear.

Pulled all my shoes out today to do a bit of an overall clean-up and sort out our spare room which is being turned into a Nursery (from essentially a wardrobe for the wife and I. It wasn't until I pulled all of the boxes and shoes out that I realised how many I actually had - so I thought i'd take a quick picture. Missing from the picture are a couple pairs of Loakes for rare occasions where I suit up.

Favourite Brands: CP, MMM, Lanvin, Buttero
Most Favourite: Lanvin (Incredible sneakers, but I find it difficult to fit them in)
Least Favourite: Sebago's (donated them today)
Most Worn: CP (6 pairs here and another 2 which fell apart - Tournament Low's)
Least Worn: Grenson (I prefer to wear sneakers for the most part)
Best Quality: Lanvin/MMM (pretty evident when you handle/wear them)
Most Disappointed: Buttero (awesome but they squeak due to poorly thought out insoles)
    Most Comfortable: MMM (like pillows)
Least Comfortable: Buttero (a little harder wearing than CP's)
    Most Expensive: Alden

If I had my time again, i'd keep all the CP's, MMM, Lanvin for sneakers and everything else would be Alden aside from dress shoes.

Clearly a large rotation but I box all my shoes after a day to air and I never wear the same pair 2 days in a row, so they look new.

What I mean is that I think it looks silly to wear a camo-tee with some camo-sneakers

Agreed. I generally don't get the trend of matching t-shirt with sneakers aside of course from the basically normal white, black, neutral combos. When the colors/pattern are meant to stand out it is just silly. Did this start as a hip hop thing? It's pretty stupid regardless. This guy I knew used to do this religiously to the point of absurdity… green sneakers, green t-shirt… purple t-shirt, purple sneakers. He had the biggest collection of shitty sneakers and Rainbow Brite t-shirts of any asshole I've ever seen.

He was generally a douche anyway so I'm sure it just bothered me more coming from him.

    Don't forget the matching Gshocks...

RE: matching shirt and sneakers... i was shooting for non contrasting colors, thus staying within the similar color spectrum/monochrome. notice the blue pants vs the usual hiphop trend of contrasting pants to separate the matching kicks and tees.

    lj1212,
my blue camos were release last year. unlike the clamor for the greens, they never did more iteration of the blues.

Right right. And I'll be sure to keep the bill flat, leave all the stickers and tags on it and turn it 45 degrees sideways on my head just to make sure you know how cool I am.

Those are pretty Gaudy in the best way possible.

In fact, if those came out in the 80's I bet AXL Rose would rock the shit out of them
